Honda Crv Wont Drive Works When Unolug Battery Then Stops Again
my Honda crv shuts downwards while driving, what could be the problem? assistance
I will exist driving and it just stops running, I pull over, give it a few seconds and
information technology will start upward again. I accept inverse the fuel filter, fuel pump, ignition switch,
plugs and plug wires, and battery, please help, i go on hoping nosotros will detect the
problem, i call up this motorcar wants to make a mechanic out of me....

Sounds like one of your relay fuses that run from the battery postal service to your cars electronics. Start with the visible ones offset . Yoou actually have to open each relay and expect to see that at that place are no shorts in the arrangement. If that doesnt piece of work then sell it to the adjacent sucker

Check your coil,it is biult into the distributor,just can be changed sepreatly from it.Sounds like it is getting hot and killing the burn down to car,and so cools and go,due south on again for a trivial while.

Intermittent main relay [supplies electric current to both the fuel system and the ignition/distributor], was the problem on my '98 CRV. Borer on it while starting, allowed to start every time. Additionally, one time running, tapping on information technology would cause the engine to die. Re-soldering all PCB connections on it "did non" fix it either. The hidden/internal contacts on each individual relay were bad. Total replacement of the main relay associates was the cure.

How-do-you-do so I accept a 2000 Honda CR-5 and as I was driving my automobile was on E my car started to like slowly finish then every bit I'm still trying to drive it would become like it'due south trying to use the little bit of gas it did accept just eventually it just stopped Side by side i walked to the nearest gas station which wasn't that far merely I got my gas tin and put 2.95 and walked back to my car I put it in the take still no first no nothing at all not fifty-fifty noises THEN.... I tried to jump it messed effectually and put the cables on the wrong color burnt out the cables and the whole car was off completely and then I left pikestaff dorsum out my cardinal in tried to outset it and it made the noise similar it wants to start but it couldn't . Everybody telling me it's my battery and most likely gas besides but I demand someone's else opinion

Automobile kept cutting out . I replaced the fuel pump for force per unit area, replaced the relays , replaced the fuel filters .,...... all didn't piece of work . Now will endeavor supplant the ringlet.

I'm having the same trouble with my 1999 Honda CRV, my mechanic isn't certain of the problem but his all-time gauge is a dodgy creepo angle sensor (replacement in society). When the machine'due south running it runs well, when it heats upwardly it cuts out and I usually take to look a short time to restart. Fingers crossed this will remedy my problem. Why doesn't Honda accept a trouble shooting website?

Does anybody know if a honda crv has gas shut off valve. That would shut off if the engine would over oestrus.I'chiliad having the same problem with the engine would die and restart later on.

it was the benefactor on my Honda,replaced that,the 4 spark plus as cylinder #3 had a msfire and put on new valve cover casket.drives like a dream at present. the distributor is what was causing information technology to die.

My CRV was having similar problems,chip was keep shutting off whenever I end and push gas. Dropped it off at mechanic today and I was told demand to alter the throttle trunk unit, hopefully that'southward it.

The mutual problem with the crv 2.0 engine is the relays and the coil for why the vehicle keeps shuting off my curent girlfriend has 1 and i fixed the trouble while she would be driving information technology would over oestrus and shut off or it would become to temp and simply die and i went replaced them two items and it runs similar a dream now

Bank check your ECT sensor. If this is going bad information technology will cause the machine to shut off or not start when hot. Unplug information technology when the car wont start and try it over again. If it starts up later on a crank or 2 replace your sensor. I've seen many people accept this problem and wind up replacing all kinds of parts without checking this one sensor.

Mine is doing the same it'south a 99 the but difference is is that when it happens it's been ii times now information technology like clunks lumens a big rattle under the car.i loose all ability yer headlights stay on.ive replaced tranny in Apr, and had the motorcar impounded where the impound yard stole my battery n positive cablevision I replaced information technology so the 100 amp battery fuse was fried . I replaced that . Then all was finally good at present this . Help!!!i dont want to exist stuck on side of road.

I literally have tried everything on my 1997 Honda CR-V , I've tried spark plugs, coil on the distributor, main relay fuse, carb cleaner, spark plug wires and it doesn't over rut doesn't accept a lot of mileage i don't know what it could be but for me i turn it on let information technology warm up and then information technology turns off randomly and so when I'm driving it it would turn off then I would accept to put it in park then I would take to turn information technology off turn it dorsum on put information technology on drive once again I need assist

This turning off problem is most likely the ignition switch. It heats up then fails. When it cools downwardly it starts once again. In that location is an official recall for these CRV's bank check information technology out. A like thing tin happen with the ignition module fyi.
